Deep Jaggi elevated to CEO of IndoStar, Auto News, ET Auto


Jaggi has over two decades of experience with HDB Financial (a wholly owned subsidiary of HDFC Ltd), Cholamandalam and Apollo Tires.

Brookfield and Everstone on Friday promoted NBFC IndoStar Capital Finance Ltd. Deep Jaggi as Managing Director (CEO). NBFC Vice President R Sridhar has decided to step down after his five-year term, which ends on April 17, 2022, the lender said in a statement.

In his current role as Commercial Director (CBO) of IndoStar, Jaggi has been responsible for the overall development of retail and collections.

Under his leadership, the retail business established a Pan-Indian presence by adding resources in the northern and eastern regions, the statement said.

Jaggi has over two decades of experience with HDB Financial (a wholly owned subsidiary of HDFC Ltd), Cholamandalam and Apollo Tires.

IndoStar is engaged in financing of used and new commercial vehicles for carriers, loans to SME borrowers and affordable real estate finance through its wholly owned subsidiary, IndoStar Home Finance Pvt Ltd.

Jim Rowan is the CEO of US company Ember Technologies and would start his new role in the coming months. It will need to steer Volvo Cars towards its goal of selling 50 percent pure electric cars by the middle of this decade and electric cars only by 2030, the company said.
