CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – Spectrum today announced that it has received a North Carolina Growing Rural Economies with Access to Technology (GREAT) grant of more than $2.3 million to bring high-speed gigabit Internet access to nearly 570 homes and small businesses of Jones County. The GREAT grant is one of twenty already awarded to Spectrum to extend fiber-optic broadband infrastructure to areas of the state that currently do not have access to broadband connections.
